At Powerhouse Arena book store in Brooklyn talking about The Kennedy Connection
I'll be in Houston this Saturday afternoon, August 23, at 4:30 to discuss and sign copies of The Kennedy Connection at Murder by the Book, near Rice University.
Signed copies of The Kennedy Connection today at Mysterious Bookshop. Great place in lower Manhattan, near City Hall. Thanks, Ian and Steve...
Fun time at KGB bar in the East Village last night for Mystery Writers of America reading. Packed house, really interesting place. Packed house, really interesting place. I read from The Kennedy Connection and six other MWA authors read tI've never read from a book in a bar before, but there are advantages....
"This is a very clever murder mystery, a most interesting intersection of plot lines.....The story was riveting and I rad this over the course of one day - could not put it down."
THE KENNEDY CONNECTION is out today! It’s about a discredited newspaper reporter who tries to jump start his career by finding out the truth about the greatest unsolved murder of all time – the JFK assassination. Kirkus called it “an engrossing thriller…a terrific story.” The New York Post named it as a “must read book.” Best selling mystery author Jan Burke praised it as a “thought provoking thriller….loaded with tension and filled with unexpected twists and turns. I loved The Kennedy Connection!” And Jimmy Breslin said: “Belsky has the news man’s gift. He tells his story well.” –
Available right now at bookstores and online everywhere… Just saw my book being displayed on a front table at the Union Square Barnes & Noble store. Now that's a moment to savor....
Just did an hour long radio interview for the Peter Moses show on WVOX, 1460 AM, in Westchester County. Talked about The Kennedy Connection and also a lot about the tabloid newspaper business. Peter was a reporter at the Post in the 80s when I was city editor of the NY Post. It was a wild and crazy and wonderful time, and Peter somehow managed to remember the one time he said I yelled at him. (for not answering a pager promptly). Really enjoyed doing the interview.
I will be reading from The Kennedy Connection at a Mystery Writers of America event Tuesday night, August 12, at KGB bar, 85 East 4th Street in the East Village. From 6:30 pm. to 9. There is no admission charge.
