Fun day at Mysterious Affair in Princeton - a terrific gathering of fans and mystery authors from the area yesterday. At the bar afterward with the authors on my panel - Jeff Markowitz, Jeff Cohen, James McCrone and Matty Dalrymple.

I'll be at the Inwood Public Library in New York City on Tuesday, August 9 at 2 p.m. - talking about crime setting in NY as part of a Mystery Writers of America author event.

Heading to Deadly Ink Mystery Conference this weekend. I'll be talking on kickoff panel during opening ceremony Friday night about "How I Started My Life in Crime." Then two more panels on Saturday - "The Mystery in History" and "Shaken or Stirred: Mixing Genres." On Saturday nite, my book Blonde Ice is a finalist for the David Award given out for Best Mystery. Should be a fun time!
