I’ve spent a lot of years as a tabloid journalist. I was metropolitan editor of The New York Post. News editor of Star magazine. And managing editor of the New York Daily News. My new suspense thriller Shooting for the Stars is about a tabloid journalist too–it’s the second in the Gil Malloy series about a Daily News reporter who breaks big front page stories. The Gil Malloy books are fiction, but I draw heavily on my own media background for them. Here are some of my real-life adventures in journalism.
